These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of VelvetVice (“the App”), operated by The Hopium Lab Ltd (“we”, “us”). By using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility: 18+

VelvetVice contains mature, sexually themed fiction and is intended only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use the App. By using it you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. The service

VelvetVice is an interactive fiction app. It uses AI to generate original romantic stories based on the prompts, characters, and preferences you provide, and can narrate them with synthetic voices.

3. AI-generated content

All stories in the App are works of fiction generated by AI. They do not depict real people or real events, and any resemblance to actual persons is coincidental. AI output can be unpredictable and may not reflect your intent. You are responsible for the prompts you supply, and you use generated content at your own discretion.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Generate, request, or share any content that sexualises minors or depicts anyone under 18. This is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination and, where required, reporting to authorities.
• Create content depicting real, identifiable people without a clear fictional framing, or that harasses, defames, or threatens others.
• Violate any applicable law or infringe anyone’s rights.
• Reverse-engineer, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App or its systems.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the prompts and character details you create. By using the App you grant us a limited licence to process that content in order to operate the service (for example, to generate and store your stories). Stories generated by the App are provided for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment.

6. Subscriptions & billing

• VelvetVice offers paid subscription tiers. Prices are shown in the App before purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device’s App Store account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policy.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its name, design, and original assets are owned by The Hopium Lab Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will meet your expectations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Hopium Lab Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time and request deletion of your account.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
